Welcome

Presentation College was founded by the Presentation Brothers in 1921. Our
school, still managed by the Presentation Brothers, actively promotes the
values of love, sincerity, justice and freedom. Our purpose is to assist and
co-operate with parents in helping each student to identify, develop, own
and use his gifts and talents for his own growth and for the welfare of
society.

The Minister for Education and Science, Batt O’Keeffe, has announced that
Presentation College is to be one of the 10 major school building projects
which are to re-tender and to proceed to construction in 2009. The projects
are being re-tendered under the new form of contracts for public capital
projects to get better value for money. The proposed development consists
of the demolition of the existing three-storey classroom building and adjoining
swimming-pool and construction of new school buildings comprising of; a new
three-storey building with adjoining single storey extension containing
general classrooms, specialist teaching areas and ancillary accommodation; a
new single storey sports hall with adjoining ancillary accommodation;
construction of a new access road to the school off the existing avenue;
construction of external playing courts.
