History
Presentation
College Bray was established in 1921 by the Presentation Brothers. The chosen
site, with the mountains as a backdrop and the Irish Sea in the foreground, was
intended to have an uplifting effect on future students.

From the beginning, the Brothers, inspired by their founder, Blessed Edmund
Rice, cultivated in the College an atmosphere of love, friendship, trust and
loyalty. The resulting spirit has now become a tradition of the College which
has been enhanced by the fruitful relationship that exists between the College
and the peoples of Bray and its environs. The College continues to foster a
commitment to educational excellence in which the Catholic ethos is central to
the daily life of the College.
The purpose of the College is to assist and co-operate with parents
in helping each student to identify, develop, own and use his gifts and talents
for his own growth and for the welfare of society. The goal of this preparation
is that each student matures emotionally, intellectually and socially into a
well-integrated, self-confident Christian person, who is strongly committed in a
personal way to the service of God and of his fellow man. This ideal involves
being educated in the fullest sense as a total person, the truly loving human
person, according to the principles of Catholic faith and morals.
In 2005,
Presentation College Bray got the go-ahead to build a multi-million euro new
school, due to begin construction in 2007, will accommodate much greater numbers
in a friendly and caring environment. The New school will have some of the best
facilities available in the country. The New complex will include brand new
science laboratories, special need's facilities, Gym and More. The Project is
due to be completed in 2008
